FERNANDO SOUZA
Vice President, Cybersource

With more than 25 years of experience in the global technology industry, Fernando Souza is currently Vice President of Cybersource, a Visa solution. Souza joined Visa in 2011 to lead the Cybersource and Visa Digital Merchant Business in Latin America and now leads Cybersource’s Global Travel & Transit segments driving go to market strategies, key investments, partnerships and client engagements in these industries. Prior to Visa, Fernando held leadership positions at VeriSign-Symantec, Gemalto-Thales, Alcatel-Lucent and ABB where he managed various regions, business units and vertical segments and served a wide range of industries, including banks, fintech, government, travel, retail, digital, telco and others.

In addition to his role at Visa, Fernando has also been serving as an executive and consultative board member of multiple business and NGO organizations. Fernando holds a BS in Electronic Engineering and MBA from University of Sao Paulo with extensions in Cambridge (UK), Lyon (France) and China.
