The Elastohydrodynamic Solution of Connecting-Rod Bearing Under Complex Loading 1999-01-0285
The method of elastohydrodynamic solution of journal bearings under complex loading is considered. On selected in the capacity of test connecting-rod bearing of diesel engine with two variants of dispositions of lubricant sources on the surfaces of a journal and a bearing is demonstrated the possibility of the consideration of bearing's deformations by means of solving of the plane task of an elasticity. The lubricant film's forces are obtained aid of the numerical integration of generalized Reynold's equation for hydrodynamic pressure. The equation of the thermal balance is solved in parallel with the calculation of the journal's locus.
