Energetical Investigations of the Tribology of Lubricating Greases 2000-01-1830

This paper is concerned with the study of grease reaction by tribological stress. We investigated the friction process by using rheological and tribological experiments. For the estimation of the energy loss by shearing the grease, a theoretical model is presented. In addition to the friction behaviour, we investigated the irreversible change of grease properties (degradation of structure) and a theoretical model is given.
