The United States (U.S.) Laboratory (Flight 5A) Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) System is comprised of six subsystems: Atmosphere Control and Supply, Atmosphere Revitalization, Fire Detection and Suppression, Temperature and Humidity Control, Vacuum System, and Water Recovery and Management.
