Utilisation of Experiences and Know-How in the Product Development Process 2001-01-3436
It is a significant competitive advantage to use and reuse the knowledge. In the project part 3.1 “Utilisation of experiences and know-how” of the German research project iViP (integrated virtual Engineering), a method to reuse the knowledge has been developed: The method focuses strongly the process-oriented structuring of knowledge. Particularly the consideration of implicit knowledge plays an important role when dealing with experiences and know-how of the employees. Thus the easy identification and knowledge exchange with experts is one of the topics. The iViP-method aims at supporting the user actively in doing his daily work. But it is a strong instrument if someone needs some special information.
