The Opportunity for IC Engines in a Hybrid World 2002-01-1910
In this presentation we will provide an overview of the needs of the Hyperdrive HEV, and show how various types of IC engines compare in terms of these needs. We will also discuss the direction for further improvements that may be possible for the most suitable engine types, to further solidify their future as the best method for converting chemical energy into mechanical work.
