Advances in SMC/BMC Automotive Applications 2002-01-2040
The use of SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) and also BMC (Bulk Molding Compounds) has regained a renewed interest from the automotive industry over the last years. SMC compounds are no longer seen as specialty materials limited to niche applications.
This paper presents, some new innovative European SMC/BMC automotive applications.
The paper is made by the European Alliance for SMC an organization wherein; raw material producers, compounders and molders have joined forces to promote SMC and BMC.
