This work aims to model steering system of vehicle. The objective is to study and evaluate its functionality. Aiming to acquire this knowledge, a steering system of FIAT Palio  geometric model was built by applying simplified equation extracted from Gillespie . This equation was detailed by this Author and the results were compared, aiming to define the results variations. For the dynamic condition, the Gillespie’s equation  was applied to determine the curve inscription. The same condition was evaluated by simulating the complete model of FIAT Palio steering system  in ADAMS/Chassis software. The transferring function of the steering wheel angles and the wheel angles was determined by the calculations and simulations of ADAMS. Through the ADAMS, it was correlated the steering wheel angle with the curve inscription of a constant radio.
