Effects of the physical properties of resins on friction performance 2019-01-0341

The frictional performance of the wet clutch used for automatic transmission is determined by the interaction between the paper-based friction material (D/C), separator plates (S/P), and automatic transmission fluid (ATF). Furthermore, it is empirically known that the coefficient of friction changes by changing the type of thermosetting resin which is a material of D / C. In this study, the factors influencing the friction performance of thermosetting resin are quantified and the relationship with friction coefficient is clarified.
