Noise sources identification and contribution analysis of electric bus powertrain over complete operating region 2019-01-0777
Electric buses have been widely used as cities' short-range commuter vehicles depending on their excellent power, fuel economy and emission characteristics. However, due to masking effect for the traditional internal combustion engine, the electric buses powertrain (EBP) noise becomes more prominent for the electric bus, which gives people an unpleasant feeling on psychological and physiological. The objective of this paper to obtain the composition and contribution law of EPB noise. The coupled noise of EBP is separated and identified into four independent noise sources (SGEN/CGEN/CHN/SFN) during the global operating regions (LSHT/GO/HSLT) through the EEMD-RobustICA-CWT. Global/ regional average contribution analysis of independent noise sources during 2nd/3rd gear operation were obtained. Correlation analysis between noise sources and operating regions during 2nd/3rd gear operation was executed; Effects of operating metrics on the dynamic mechanism metrics of independent noise sources was analyzed.
