CFD evaluation of the influence of temperature on Coanda effect adhesion 2019-01-1867
This paper describes the Coanda Effect adhesion on convex surfaces and analyses the effects of the temperature of the surface on fluid adhesion. This paper presents a CFD based analysis of the specific phenomena and analyses how the adhesion changes as a function of the convective heat exchanges between the fluid and the surface. The boundary layer has been also modeled by expressing a new formulation of the Coanda effect that accounts energy phenomena. The proposed model is validated versus CFD results.
