Parameter Identification techniques for PMSM: An Overview 2024-28-0151
In hybrid and electric vehicles, the stable and precise operation of the motor significantly impacts vehicle performance. The Motor’s operation depends on its electrical and mechanical parameters. This paper focuses on PMSM motor’s electrical parameters such as stator resistance, D-Q axis inductance, and permanent magnet flux linkage. Identifying the electrical parameters of a PMSM motor is complex due to the non-linear relationship between input and output. A change in one parameter can alter the motor’s dynamic response. This paper presents a comparative analysis of various PMSM electrical parameter's identification techniques. Further the paper proposes an optimized sequence of conducting these techniques.
