Visionary Assessment for Animator Lamps 2024-28-0191

Technology advancement & increased complexity in the lamps advocates for digital transformation. Exterior lamps performance is no more dependent on itself but driven by other vehicular systems and there interdependencies on software. It triggered the need to develop closed loop smart lamp testing (SLT) system for functional validation of exterior lamps. This will bridge the gaps and is able to find out missing link of Integration testing / Synchronization at once for all exterior lamps. Digital validation system analyses exterior lighting system performance in real time operating conditions with simulated & abused test conditions which enables a subjective & objective real time assessment in the closed loop under controlled environment at a click of a button. This also ensures automated test execution can be carried out for exterior lighting system for early assessment on sub modules and software versions independent of other vehicular systems and fine tuning of design parameters. Developed system is engineered to operate across broad spectrum of passenger vehicles / across different software versions The digital validation approach for testing presents several advantages over traditional methods thereby reducing dependency on matured vehicle Hardware and software versions. It allows for early-stage prediction of issues related to integration of hardware and software maturity, eliminates manual errors, and considerably reduces measurement time. Moreover, the adoption of digital improves robustness in entire validation process, thereby enhancing overall efficiency.
