NOW-Practical “Double Dry” Filtration with DONACLONE 590027

DRY-TYPE air cleaners are considered to be easier to service than the oil-bath type. This paper describes one such cleaner, the Donaclone developed by Donaldson Co.
Field and performance tests on the cleaner on farm tractors, trucks, military tanks, and similar vehicles are described. Maintenance of the three sections of the cleaner (dust cup, tube section, and filter element) is also outlined.
The authors consider the Donaclone to give positive engine protection, long service life, installation flexibility, and service economy.
