Design Consideration to Obtain Aerial Transport and Delivery for Ground Combat Vehicles 630034

Considerable design considerations are important when designing military ground vehicles, tactical and combat, for air transport and delivery, including the use of air drop. Much unnecessary time and expense can be saved if during the design phase of the vehicle the requirements for air transport and delivery as well as the characteristics of the transporting aircraft are taken into account. Description of the U.S. Air Force guide rail roller system is included, a system allowing easy transfer of equipment into or out of an aircraft.
