The Effect of the Vigom Process on the Combustion in Diesel Engines 640373

After reviewing the principal diesel engine problems that can be solved only by improving combustion control, the authors describe recent developments in theVigom process, a process designed to reduce the ignition delay by simply modifying the injection system.
They then go on to present the main results obtained while applying this process to different types of engines in an effort either to reduce or to enable the engines to function on different kinds of fuel.
