The purpose of this paper is to give a brief outline of the philosophies and methods used in the quality and reliability programs of the leading manufacturer of business and personal aircraft. As noted in the article, the personnel involved are numerous and range from trainee to scientist covering every basic modern science except the most exotic ones.
While the activities are not radical, they do represent practical refinements of techniques which have been proven by results. We hope they contribute to the progress of our industry.
