Computer Study of Gasoline Volatility and Vehicle Performance 690208
A plausible mechanism of vapor lock during full throttle acceleration has been simulated on a digital computer. The computer program, which is based on empirical data from the fuels and vehicle, has been used to study the relationships among fuel composition, ambient temperature and elevation, changes in fuel system design, and vehicle performance.
