Quality Control of Elastomeric Compounds by Gas Chromatographic Fingerprinting 710168
Gas chromatographic fingerprinting of elastomeric materials is discussed in this paper. The development of this analytic technique, the parameters, and the testing procedure are given.
The capabilities of this technique are the identification of basic elastomers, the blending of these elastomers, the quantitative analysis of ash content, and the use of this method in controlling incoming shipments of material.
