It also attempts to set the stage and highlight some of the issues.The public is increasingly demanding relief from aircraft noise, and demanding evidence that all possible remedial action has been taken. State governments, concerned for the health and welfare of their citizens, are considering whether they may be in an ideal position to act as a regulatory catalyst in this area.
