A Simplified Approach for Estimating Manufacturing Cost at the Part Level 730908
A new approach to estimating manufacturing cost at the part level is described. This method is based on material specifications, weights, and other material parameters.
The parts price estimating model is explained in terms of the data base, which includes such items as labor cost, material cost, manufacturing cost, material specification, part form, and weights. The model is then developed according to the type of input data available.
