Stress Analysis of Industrial Components with Plastic and Finite Element Models 740706
Plastic scale models and finite element modeling have been developed as useful tools for stress analysis of machine components. Preliminary experience has refined each method so that reliable results are now being obtained, as confirmed by the correlation of output from these separate approaches.
