Noise Level Measurements on a Quiet Short Haul Turboprop Transport 760455
The paper describes the early experimental work, the flight test methods and the initial results of the noise measurements for a quiet STOL four engined turboprop aircraft.
The target noise level of 95 PNdB at 500 ft sideline at takeoff set some six years earlier in the development process has been achieved.
