New Method to Measure the Damping of Bus Cross Beams 785089
Dynamic dimensioning of bus frames requires proper knowledge of
the damping of different vehicle parts determined by
measurements.
With reference to damping measurements in literature, the author
examines the damping of rectangular steel tubes and that of
electric, are welded cross beams of different types with a method
of his own design.
This method, beyond its economy, reduces the environmental
effects disturbing measurements much more efficiently than any
other technique applied so far.
