Experiences with Nickel-Silicon-Carbide Coatings in Cylinder Bores of Small Aluminum Engines 790843

Besides the chrome plated cylinder the cylinder with the electroplated dispersion coating consisting of nickel with the embedded hard silicon-carbide particles is the most important cylinder type for small aluminum engines. This paper deals mainly with the nickel-silicon-carbide-cylinder.
