A New Concept in Mechanical Drives-The WABCO 120 Mechanical Truck 801009
This paper briefly reviews the history of mine haulage trucks. It reviews productivity limitations with respect to size or speed. Changing haul requirements once again create the need for more flexible mechanical drive power transmission equipment. The new equipment however is designed to provide extended life between overhauls as compared with previous mechanical transmissions.
