Rebuild of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment 801238

The concept of relife or remanufacturing of older ground support equipment to current specifications is examined in detail. This approach is gaining in acceptance due to the high replacement cost of ground support equipment, and the financial pressure on airlines due to rising fuel costs and aircraft replacement costs.
The technical and economic aspects of relife are examined and examples of several relife projects are discussed.
