A second generation fluid has been developed which retains all of the performance capability of the first generation STOU, but in the wider and more versatile SAE 10W-30 viscosity grade. The improved low temperature viscosity characteristics allow use in cold climates, thereby opening a new range of geographical availability of the STOU concept and providing more universal application.
