NITROTEC™ Surface Treatment - Its Development and Application in the Design and Manufacture of Automobile Components 831838
Following a brief review of the properties and application characteristics of gaseous nitrocarburising techniques developed over the last decade, specific attention is given to the Nitrotec method introduced recently to increase the corrosion resistance and improve the aesthetics of treated components. Guidance on implementation of the new process is accompanied by examples of its exploitation in the design and manufacture of non-alloy steel automobile components.
