Product Support is a multifaceted program providing technical assistance involving educational, engineering, and material support resources. The program is further enhanced with commercial/financial support provided through warranties and guarantees relating to equipment performance. The various elements of product support provide a technical life line which the Airline/Buyer requires to ensure that the equipment will satisfactorily meet its operational mission. There should be an on-going commitment of both companies encompassing the life of the equipment program. Also, due to the changing technical sophistication and increased cost of equipment product support is changing to keep in step.
