Fast Response Optical Type Karman Vortex Air Flowmeter 870293

A fast response, high accurate flowmeter has been developed to make possible the control of air-fuel mix ratio under any operating conditions of automotive engines.
This air flowmeter is designed to provide digital output utilizing the Karman vortex generation principle which has wide flow range measurements.
This paper introduces the details of the newly developed vortex generator and the vortex detector having the above features as well as the principles and construction of the optical type Karman vortex air flowmeter.
