HOTOL: An Advanced European Space Transporter 871344
The origins of the HOTOL Project and its primary design objectives, aimed at reducing satellite launch costs, are defined. Primary structural, aerodynamics and systems design features are described. Operational procedures are explained and support facilities illustrated. A possible future development programme is outlined.
