Performance of Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) at Subzero Temperatures 890007
This study evaluates automotive thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) at subzero temperatures. Tests include thermal stiffening, impact, and flex life at −40° C.
TPEs perform well at low temperatures, and are generally equal, or superior, to rubber. The copolyester TPEs offer the best performance for automotive subzero applications.
