Quality Planning Means Successful Quality 890830

The implementation or improvement of a quality assurance system within any manufacturing environment is a continuing process. There is really no definable beginning or end. One aspect of this continuous process is that of planning.
It has been said that failing to plan means planning to fail. Since our intention is not to fail, this paper will address the issue of planning.
Plan as defined in Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary is a method or scheme of action, procedure, or arrangement; project, program, outline, or schedule.
The following paper details a participative method involving the planning for quality improvement. Examples from CONTECH are used for illustrative purposes.
