The Influence of Isolating Air to Air Coolers Against Failure Due to Thermal Expansion 902262
This paper is an introduction to the basic concepts of failure induced by thermal expansion in materials of construction for Charge Air Coolers. Presented here are some of the design considerations and validation techniques employed to deal with this problem on a broad application basis.
