Optimum Design of Defroster Nozzle 920167

Time-consuming experiments have heretofore been required for the development of defroster nozzles.
To solve this problem, the authors have quantitatively correlated configuration factors for defroster nozzles and air flow distribution through experiments with simplified models and multiple-regression analysis. Using this approach, it has become possible to derive defrosting patterns from defroster nozzle configuration factors in the design phase.
