Due to the high economy and drivability performance objectives, the dual-drive hybrid system which has two motors is developed. In the different working condition, the drive modes based on the engine status, the requested driver torque and power, C0 status are presented. The unique challenge of the dual-drive hybrid system is the transition control of drive modes change. Specifically, the drive mode transition from the serial mode to parallel mode in the acceleration which is divided into three phases: the synchronization phase, the C0 lock up phase and the torque exchange phase. The adaption of C0 clutch filling time, the kiss point and the correlation of torque and pressure are developed in the mode transition with C0 clutch engaged. The calculation of torque to pressure conversion is updated by the clutch torque adaptation which is described as follows. The correction factor in percentage used in torque model is calculated.
