This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant steel alloy in the form of pre-alloyed powder. Powder production method includes melting under nitrogen or argon atmospheres and water atomization. This powder is intended to be used for the additive manufacturing of aerospace parts via a binder jetting process, requiring corrosion resistance and high strength up to 600 °F (316 °C), but usage is not limited to such process or applications.
