Topics related to commercial vehicles, engines, and safety are covered by other SAE journals and thus are mostly excluded. The Journal rigorously peer reviews and disseminates authoritative, non-biased original research—theoretical and applied—and informative case studies with respect to the mechanical systems that comprise modern on-road automobiles.
