GENERAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR MARINE VEHICLES

1990-12-01
CURRENT
J1777_199012
This Hydrospace Information Report (HIR) identifies the general environmental considerations for the design, development, evaluation, and testing of advanced surface craft, submersible vehicles, and other marine craft. This HIR provides criteria on the environmental limits within which marine vehicles, related components, and associated equipment should operate satisfactorily and reliably.

SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR MARINE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS

1992-05-30
HISTORICAL
J1784_199205
This document lists military and industry specifications and standards that are considered to be of particular interest to designers of marine vehicle hydraulic systems. SAE AIR737 lists additional aerospace hydraulic documents which occasionally may have application in marine hydraulic systems (see 3.2.1).

HYDRAULIC FLUIDS FOR MARINE VEHICLES

1989-02-01
HISTORICAL
J1778_198902
This HIR specifies general environment and equipment imposed requirements that dictate fluid and lubricant characteristics. For definitions of fluid and lubricant characteristics, see SAE AIR1116. Examples of specification and typical values for properties of fluids for marine vehicles are listed in Appendix A.

Fluid Systems—Connector Tubes—General Specification and Part Standard

2001-10-26
CURRENT
J24714_200110
This SAE Standard identifies the material and dimensional requirements for component connector tubes and related items for use in fluid power components. Connector tubes are also identified as quills, ferrules or transfer tubes. Connector tubes are used to connect fluid passages within a component or to connect one component to another; for example, connecting control valves to subplates. Related items include plugs, undrilled connector tubes and connector tubes for internal check valves and restrictors.
