This document describes the CAD model data of legs and back hardware available from SAE for the HPM-1 three-dimensional H-point machine. The elements of the CAD model include the feet, lower and thighs as well as headroom probe and t-bar. Also included are datum points and lines, and calibration references. The intended purpose for this information is to provide a CAD reference for design and benchmarking as well as a calibration reference for the physical HPM-1 audits. The content and format of the data files that are available are also described. The actual CAD model files are included with this product and are provided in the following formats: CATIA v4 (without parametrics), CATIA v5 (without parametrics), IGES, and STEP.

This document standardizes the design of connector blocks used for joining SAE J518-1/ISO 6162-1 (Code 61) flange heads with other SAE J518-1/ISO 6162-1 (Code 61) flange heads with straight, elbow, and tee geometries. The blocks specified in this document are designed to provide for very compact installations. As a result, the tap depths specified in this document do not conform to those specified in SAE J518-1/ISO 6162-1 to allow for a minimal bend radius in the elbow and tee configurations. Round head bolts are made in two body styles: (a) A full size body, with a maximum diameter somewhat greater than the nominal diameter (not an SAE Standard except for ribbed neck bolts, Table 3); and (b) an undersize body, with a minimum diameter approximating the pitch diameter of the thread and a maximum diameter never exceeding nominal (SAE standard for all types except ribbed neck bolts). The body diameter of either style may be exceeded by a reasonable swelling or fin under the head, or under corners of the square necks, to the extent that serviceability is not affected.
This method of gaging alignment of nut slots allows equal variations for location of the cotter pin hole in the bolt and location of slots in the nut. To inspect the nut, the slotted gage is inserted through the nut hole from the bearing surface of the nut. Alignment of slots is considered satisfactory if the gage pin can be slipped into the gage and nut slots without interference.
This standard will be an updated version of SAEJ548/1. It is intended to specify the design requirements and dimensions for spark plugs and their cylinder head mounting. This standard will cover automotive, light duty non-automotive and small engine spark plugs. It does not include aircraft and large industrial engine type spark plugs..
This SAE standard applies to any and all Flushing Fluids intended for aftermarket use to clean and decontaminate sections of the refrigerant circuit within a vehicle A/C system. This standard provided testing and acceptance criteria for determining minimum performance and compatibility of Flushing Fluids with A/C system materials and components, which may be intended for use in servicing vehicle A/C systems. This standard will only indicate a Flushing Fluid's minimum performance criteria, and that it is chemically compatible with materials used in the A/C system. It is not the intent of this document to identify requirements for ultraviolet leaks detection dyes, as such dyes must meet the requirements of SAE J 2297. It is not the intention of this document to identify requirements for system additives, as such additives must meet the requirements of SAE J 2670.
This SAE Standard specifies the performance tests and requirements for hydraulic brake hose assemblies used in the underhood hydraulic braking system of a road vehicle. This standard does not apply to brake hose used in jounce applications (wheel mounted brake hose assemblies).
