The result of a combined effort between the Society for Machinery Failure Prevention Technology (MFPT) and the International Society of Automation (ISA), which held their conferences together in May, 2013, the proceedings are now are available in print format. The scope of the test method is to provide stakeholders including fluid manufacturers, brake manufacturers, aircraft constructors, aircraft operators and airworthiness authorities with a relative assessment of the effect of deicing chemicals on carbon oxidation.
