A World In Motion

Our program brings Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education to life for students in grades PreK-8 with hands-on activities.

Classroom volunteers unlock the potential in every child in local communities around the globe.

The A World In Motion® (AWIM®) PreK-8 STEM education program is a teacher-administered, volunteer-assisted curriculum that brings hands-on STEM learning to life for all students. Since 1990, more than 6 million students and 30,000 volunteers across the globe have participated in this award-winning educational program.

Industry volunteers and university students are a crucial part of AWIM delivery, serving as in-classroom resources for teachers, providing crucial mentorship, and inspiring young learners to explore the exciting world of STEM.

Classroom volunteers have a chance to make learning fun, helping students discover the exciting application of science and math principles and share information about promising career paths.
