Pinball Designer

Malarkey and the Big Trap introduces students to the design process as a lazy cat attempts to catch a mouse.

Students experiment with variable testing using cars and ramps.

Core concepts include potential and kinetic energy, mass, gravity, velocity, and momentum.

The Three Little Pigs Sledding Adventure explores how different sled materials affect the three pigs' ability to outfox the Big Bad Wolf, encouraging students to make connections with their own observations throughout the activities.

Engineering Inspired by Nature

Core concepts include Newton’s laws of motion, forces, and engineering design.

Once Upon a Time In the Woods is a tale about how trees in a crowded forest find some space for themselves, leading students to consider different reasons and methods for seed travel.
