SAE/Kettering University Professional Certificate in Automotive Systems

SAE and Kettering University offer a 20-credit Professional Certificate in Automotive Systems. This certificate is available to individuals who want to earn a professional certificate by itself, or to individuals who want to continue on to receive a Master of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Automotive Systems. The Certificate consists of:

Students who complete the requirements of the Certificate in Automotive Systems will receive this professional certificate. Additionally, students will have completed half of the requirements for the Kettering University Master of Science in Engineering, Automotive Systems degree, and may apply for admission to complete this master's degree by taking five additional Kettering classes. Students must apply for the MS degree within 4-years of receiving this Certificate.
