NASA high-temp materials, coatings enhance commercial products

NASA officials are announcing the availability of eight disruptive NASA materials and coatings technologies ready for commercialization.

NASA officials are looking for companies interested in using the organization’s high-temperature materials and coatings to improve existing products or introduce new ones.


NASA’s Technology Transfer Program is providing the opportunity to use materials science and coating technologies, originally developed for exploration and discovery, to help improve damage resistance, increase product lifetimes, and save energy. NASA's Technology Transfer Program ensures innovations developed for exploration and discovery are broadly available to the public.
