LISA CLAVELOUX
Senior Director, Group Quality Pratt & Whitney, A Raytheon Technologies Company
Lisa Claveloux is an experienced and dynamic Quality executive currently leading the Group Quality organization at Pratt & Whitney, a unit of Raytheon Technologies. Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft and helicopter engines and auxiliary power units. In her role as Senior Director, Group Quality, at Pratt & Whitney, Lisa leads the core quality teams, which assure processes and systems are in place that effectively and consistently result in safe, conforming products.
Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, Lisa held roles as Corporate Quality Manager and led the avionics and flight control quality organization at United Technologies businesses. She joined Pratt & Whitney in 2016 as Director, New Product Introduction, which included the deployment of APQP and PPAP in the supply base.
Lisa became the executive representing Pratt & Whitney at AESQ in 2018 and was recently selected as Vice Chair of the organization. She has been a strong advocate for the creation of the AS13100 standard, recently published by SAE.
Previously, Lisa worked for 23 years in the chemical processing industry. She held leadership positions in process engineering, process development, continuous improvement and quality. Her passion for process control was born from first-hand experience seeing run-away reactions of poly-methyl methacrylate, which not only ruined acrylic castings but also created a safety hazard for anyone nearby. The criticality of controlling chemical reactions has influenced her views, leading to a career in Quality.
Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). She is a Lean Champion from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and completed the Management Development Institute at Washington University and the WPI Advanced Management Institute.
Raised on the Connecticut shoreline, Lisa is now married with three adult children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking cuisine from around the world, including her husband’s native Italy.
