This foundation specification (AMS1424R) and its associated category specifications (AMS1424/1 and AMS1424/2) cover a deicing/anti-icing material in the form of a fluid.
Rationale:
Sections 4.2.2 and 4.2.3 have been revised to provide clarification of fluid initial qualification and requalification expiration dates along with an explanation for why these revisions have been implemented. Minor editorial revisions have also been made.
