Titanium Alloy, Sheet, Strip, and Plate 6a1 6v 2sn Annealed AMS4918H

This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of sheet, strip, and plate.

These products have been used typically for parts not requiring heat treatment but requiring high mechanical properties in the annealed condition, but usage is not limit to such application. This alloy exhibits high strength-to-weight ratios up to 750 degrees F (399 degrees C).

Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress-corrosion cracking; ARP982 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
