An SAE ARP is proposed to help applicants comply with 14 CFR 23.903(b)(1) and section 25.903(d)(1) and equivalent requirements from other regulatory authorities.
Rationale: There has been insufficient guidance regarding how to assess and mitigate the risks for engine case burn through. Having an industry ARP to assist with this will be helpful for applicants to show compliance to the applicable regulations.
